Everyday we wake up with good intentions. We want to make good choices, take the stairs, drink more water, smile more, etc. Then the day begins, we get flustered, stressed, and begin succumbing to the bad habits we have developed to deal with the negative energies. I'm constantly telling my daughter, it is her responsibility to control her actions and choices. I then have to remind myself to practice what I preach! If I can't figure it out as a 47 year old, how is she suppose to at 16. I try to set a good example but the world gets the better of me and i fall back on bad habits learned over the years. A bad relationship with food and alcohol are hard habits to change, even when its what you want. I do my best to be consistent and follow thru but I am human and make mistakes. We can't dwell on the mistakes, we must pick ourselves up and move on. Learning from our mistakes is harder than the mistake itself. I just try to be better today than I was yesterday.
